St. Petersburg Guide

St. Petersburg Museums List - Created by Europe’s best architects and virtually untouched during Soviet times, St. Petersburg’s World-Heritage-Listed old town is one of the largest and most impressive in Europe. The city has more individual tourist attractions than Paris, although it’s Piter’s atmosphere which charms most visitors; and just following the inky canals on a misty night can easily be as impressive as a day at the Hermitage.
St. Petersburg Theatres List - St. Petersburg is the cultural capital of Russia. Many Russians can only dream of coming here and seeing the world-famous Hermitage Museum or the internationally acclaimed ballet at the Mariinsky Theatre. Over three centuries, St. Petersburg has been home to some of Russia's greatest composers, artists and poets.
St. Petersburg Banks List - Banks of St. Petersburg serving individuals: addresses, phone numbers, websites.
St. Petersburg Internet Cafe List - Places in St. Petersburg where you can rent computer with Internet access and have a cup of coffee when reading email or browsing web.
St. Petersburg Restaurants List - Gastronomy has come along way in St. Petersburg, and, these days, there’s a lot more around than just borshch, pork and fried potatoes. You can sample traditional Russian fare at most cafés and restaurants, or at one of the city’s numerous pancake (bliny) eateries. Food from the former Soviet republics is also easy to find, so try some Georgian, Uzkbek or Latvian restaurants while you’re here too.
St. Petersburg Night Clubs List - While more laid-back than Moscow, the nightlife in St. Petersburg is anything but dull. Piter never sleeps; you can eat, drink and dance around the clock. The city has flashy strip-joints, dimly lit jazz halls and a vibrant underground music scene. On a night out in Peter, it’s not uncommon to encounter unusual performances and people.
St. Petersburg Metro Map - St. Petersburg Subway (Underground), called the Metro for "Metropoliten", is the fastest and cheapest way to reach many points in St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg's metro is one of the deepest in the world. It's fast and efficient and, during peak time, you won't need to wait more than three minutes for a ride. The metro runs from 06:00 till around 00:30.
St. Petersburg Phone Directories - The following sites have databases with phone numbers and addresses of enterprises, banks, foreign firms and other organizations in St. Petersburg.
